The Amazfit Balance 2 is one of the best offerings from Amazfit that brings some premium features. One of the best features of the Amazfit Balance 2 is that it supports real-time heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring using an advanced optical sensor. It also brings in a large 658mAh battery, which promises up to 21 days of usage on a single charge or up to 67 hours in continuous GPS mode. Now, Amazfit seems to be taking things to a new level by bringing a more premium titanium variant of this watch. This is rumoured to be called the Amazfit Balance 2 XT. While the company hasn’t confirmed anything officially, fresh leaks and FCC listings have given some solid clues about this upcoming smartwatch. According to reports, the Amazfit Balance 2 XT will replace the regular aluminum and fiber-reinforced polymer chassis with a titanium body. This upgrade would make it the most durable watch in Amazfit’s portfolio. Also Read: Amazfit Active 2 Square Smartwatch Unveiled: Check Out Features, Specs, Display, and More
Interestingly, the model number A2430 has been spotted in FCC documents, which also confirm that the XT is slightly larger than the standard model. The XT will measure 49 x 49 x 13 mm, compared to the regular model’s 47.4 x 47.4 x 12.3 mm. This might not be a huge bump, but could be enough to hint at a more substantial, possibly tougher build.
Talking about the display, the company has kept it under wraps. But we can expect the Balance 2 XT to retain the same 1.5-inch AMOLED display and Sapphire crystal glass found on the standard Balance 2. There could be some tweaks to the display, but mostly the core specs will remain similar.
FCC listings also reveal that the XT model will come with two different straps, much like what we saw with the Balance 2 and the Amazfit Active 2 Premium. The strap material and colours remain unknown for now.
Coming to some interesting rumours, Amazfit might also be planning to introduce NFC for contactless payments. If true, this would make the XT a much more versatile smartwatch that could also be used for payments. On the software side, we can expect Zepp OS 5.0 which means all the smart features, health tracking tools, and polished UI will carry over from the Balance 2.
While there’s no official launch date yet, recent leaks hint that the Amazfit Balance 2 XT could drop sometime in June 2025. As for the pricing, we can expect it to cost more than the regular Balance 2.
