Vivo is set to launch the flagship X300 series smartphones in India soon. The lineup – including Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro – was recently launched in the global markets. Ahead of the India launch, the company has confirmed key specifications of both phones, while also teasing the Red colour variant – which is said to be an exclusive for India. Vivo has confirmed that the X300 series will debut in India on December 2. The launch event will take place at 12 p.m. IST. Vivo shared a teaser on X (formerly Twitter), revealing the Red colour variant for the upcoming X300 series. According to recent reports, this particular shade will be exclusive to India. The microsite for the phone is now live on Vivo India’s website, confirming that the Red option will be available for the standard Vivo X300 model.

As confirmed on the official microsite, both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The phones will also feature the Pro Imaging VS1 and V3+ imaging chips, designed to enhance camera performance and image processing. The devices will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.
The Vivo X300 Pro will feature a ZEISS-tuned triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP (f/1.57) Sony LYT-828 primary camera, a 50MP (f/2.0) Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens, and a 200MP (f/2.67) HPB APO telephoto sensor. On the front, it will sport a 50MP (f/2.0) Samsung JN1 selfie camera placed inside a hole-punch cutout.
The standard Vivo X300 will also carry a ZEISS-backed triple camera unit, featuring a 200MP (f/1.68) HPB main camera with OIS, a 50MP (f/2.57) Sony LYT-602 telephoto sensor with OIS, and a 50MP (f/2.0) Samsung JN1 ultrawide lens. For selfies and video calls, it will include a 50MP (f/2.0) Samsung JN1 front camera.
Vivo is expected to announce the India launch date soon, as teasers and microsite details hint that the release is around the corner.
