Vivo is all set to launch its next flagship series in China, with the Vivo X300 Pro likely to debut alongside the standard Vivo X300. The company has been gradually teasing details of the upcoming smartphones, building anticipation for what looks to be a strong follow-up to last year’s X200 lineup.
Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao has already shared a key detail – the X300 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch flat display surrounded by slim, uniform bezels. That’s a noticeable change from the curved-screen design of last year’s X200 Pro, hinting at a cleaner, more practical look this time around. Both the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are also confirmed to be just 7mm thick at their slimmest points – noticeably slimmer than their predecessors, which measured close to 8mm. A silhouette image shared online hints at a square-shaped rear camera module with rounded edges, giving the series a refreshed look.
The Vivo X300 series will place heavy emphasis on imaging, a signature trait of Vivo’s flagship phones. Both models will include a 50MP ZEISS-certified wide-angle selfie camera with autofocus. The standard Vivo X300 will come equipped with a 200MP ZEISS main sensor and a 50MP ZEISS APO super periscope telephoto lens powered by Sony’s custom LYT-602 sensor. This setup promises enhanced macro, portrait, and long-range photography with reduced chromatic aberration, thanks to ZEISS T* coating.
The Vivo X300 Pro, on the other hand, will take things up a notch with a 200MP ZEISS HPB Thanos periscope telephoto camera alongside a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor. The latter features a large 1/1.28-inch size, f/1.57 aperture, advanced stabilisation (CIPA 5.5), and Hybrid Frame-HDR with up to 100dB dynamic range. Vivo is also bringing its VCS Bionic Spectrum 3.0 for improved colour accuracy and low-power efficiency.
