Vivo has confirmed that its upcoming smartphone, the Vivo V60, will be unveiled on August 12 in India. The phone will succeed the Vivo V50, which debuted earlier this year in the country. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the key specifications of the Vivo V60. The phone has also bagged certification from Thailand’s National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) website. Vivo V60 is scheduled to make its debut in India on August 12 at 12 PM IST. The phone is confirmed to launch in three colour options – Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Grey.
Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo V50 successor will feature a 3D quad-curved display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The phone will pack a large 6,500mAh battery. The Vivo V60 will sport an IP68 & IP69 rated build for dust and water resistance.
For photography, the Vivo V60 will feature a ZEISS-tuned triple camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS and a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto camera with 10x zoom support. On the front, the phone has a 50MP selfie camera.
The Vivo V60 is confirmed to run Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. It will also support Gemini AI features, including Gemini Live. The phone will also feature AI tools like AI Captions and AI Smart Call Assistant.
According to earlier leaks, the Vivo V60 will flaunt a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. The phone is said to support 90W fast wired charging. The rear camera setup is expected to feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, all tuned by ZEISS optics.
