Vivo has previewed its upcoming S50 Pro Mini in China, giving us the first clear look at the device ahead of its official launch. The phone is expected to arrive in India as the Vivo X300 FE. The company is already preparing to launch the X300 and X300 Pro in India on December 2, and the S50 Pro Mini appears to be the next addition to the lineup. Images shared by Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao on Weibo give us a clear look at the S50 Pro Mini’s design. The phone has a slim profile with a flat frame, but what immediately stands out is the long pill-shaped camera module running across the back. It looks quite similar to the iPhone Air at first glance. Unlike Apple’s single-camera setup, Vivo has packed three cameras into this module, with the flash placed between the sensors. This is quite different from the X200 FE, which had a more traditional module design. Also Read: Upcoming Smartphone Launches In December 2025 That Are Worth Waiting For
The S50 Pro Mini, or X300 FE, will feature a 6.31-inch flat AMOLED display, making it one of the more compact premium phones in the segment. Vivo confirms that the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The company also claims that the phone scores over 3 million points on AnTuTu. Also Read: Sony Introduces LYTIA 901: A 200MP Camera Sensor Built For Ultra-Premium Phones
On the camera front, Vivo is continuing its focus on imaging hardware. The S50 Pro Mini gets an “ultra-sensitive” main sensor, accompanied by a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens for improved zoom performance. For selfies, the device includes a 50MP front camera.
The S50 Pro Mini also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means it can handle dust and water without issues. The phone is powered by a 6,500mAh battery, and Vivo has confirmed support for 90W fast charging and 40W wireless charging.
There’s no official word on the pricing yet. The previous X200 FE launched in India at Rs 54,999, so the X300 FE is expected to fall in a similar range.
