Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event, which has been hosted in New York today, has revealed the latest set of foldables. Apart from the usual Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, the tech giant has launched the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, a more affordable version of its latest foldable. It is set to make foldable phones more accessible without compromising on the essential specifications and features. It shares the same iconic clamshell design as the regular Z Flip 7 but is built for users who want the foldable experience at a lower price point.
From specifications, features, price and availability — here’s everything that you need to know about the Flip 7 FE offers.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate as the main display, while the cover display is a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset, coupled with up to 256GB storage option. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 packs an Exynos 2500 chipset.
The phone is rated IP48 for water resistance, meaning it can handle splashes and dust. It packs a 4,000mAh battery. The Galaxy Flip 7 FE runs on Android 16 with One UI 8, and includes Galaxy AI features, like Gemini Live on the cover screen, smart reminders, and voice-based actions.
Unlike the regular Flip 7, which comes in four colour options, the Flip 7 FE keeps things simple with just Black and White finishes. It is launched at Rs 89,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the 256GB storage costs Rs 95,999. It is available in two colour options — Black and White.
