Redmi Pad SE launched with Snapdragon 680 SoC; Redmi Buds 5A tags along

Redmi has unveiled the all-new Redmi Pad SE in India. The tablet comes in the lower-end segment and offers features like a large 11-inch display for multimedia consumption, a Snapdragon chipset, and a big battery. Alongside the tablet, the company also launched new TWS earbuds dubbed the Redmi Buds 5A.

Redmi Pad SE price and specifications

Redmi Pad SE is priced starting at Rs 12,999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 13,999, whereas, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 14,999.

All variants get a Rs 1,000 bank instant discount on ICICI Bank cards. After applying the discount offer, the tablet can be purchased for Rs 11,999, Rs 12,999, and Rs 13,999, respectively. Xiaomi is also selling the Redmi Pad SE cover for Rs 1,299. The tablet will go on sale on April 24 on Flipkart, Amazon, and Mi.com. Buyers can also get it offline at Xiaomi retail stores.

Redmi Pad SE features an 11-inch display with a 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution. It has a 90Hz screen refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It has a 5MP camera on the front for video calls or for clicking selfies. There’s an 8MP single camera on the rear with support for 1080p video recording.

The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of base RAM. It packs a massive 8,000mAh battery for long hours of usage. It has support for 18W fast charging via the USB Type C port. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired headphones. There’s also a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio support.

Redmi Buds 5A price and specifications

Redmi Buds 5A TWS earbuds are available at a special launch price of Rs 1,499 including offers. The earbuds will be available for purchase from April 29 at Xiaomi retail stores, Reliance Digital, and on Mi.com.

The earbuds feature 12mm dynamic drivers and come with up to 30 hours. The earbuds are advertised to run for 90 minutes on a 10-minute quick charge. It has features like touch controls for controlling the music and answering and rejecting calls.

Some of the other notable features of the earbuds include Google Fast Pair for quick pairing of Android phones. The earbuds also have up to 25 dB active noise cancellation support. It also has an IPX4 rating for resistance to water droplets and sweat. The Redmi Buds 5A can be paired with Android and iOS via Bluetooth 5.4.
