Poco has unveiled its first tablet in the Indian market. The Poco Pad 5G is the latest entrant in the budget tablet segment. It comes after the success of Xiaomi and Redmi tablets in the country. The Poco Pad 5G is a large-screen tablet that features a 12.1-inch 120Hz screen, a Snapdragon chipset, and a massive 10,000mAh battery. Let’s see the tablet’s price, offers, and full specifications.

Poco Pad 5G price in India, offers, and availability

The Poco Pad 5G costs Rs 23,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant and Rs 25,999 for the 12GB RAM + 128GB variant. However, buyers can get a Rs 3,000 bank discount on SBI, HDFC, and ICICI Bank cards. There’s also a Rs 1,000 student discount on the first sale. With the offers, the device can be purchased effectively for Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999.

The tablet has two colour options to choose from, such as Pistachio Green and Cobalt Blue. The first sale of the device is scheduled for August 27 on Flipkart.

The Poco Pad 5G has a clean design on the rear, with a single camera placed vertically on the upper left. The tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for durability and Dolby Vision support. It has a peak brightness of 600 nits.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for expandable storage. It houses a mammoth 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box with HyperOS on top of it.

The device has a single camera on the rear and a single camera on the front. Both are 8MP sensors capable of shooting 1080p videos. The tablet also has support for accessories like a keyboard and a stylus. It has an IP52 rating for resistance from dust and water droplets.
