Oppo’s next flagship lineup – the Find X9 series – is set to debut in China on October 16, and fresh leaks now hint at when Indian users can expect to see it. According to a new report by SmartPrix, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are likely to launch in India next month, following a global announcement that could take place by the end of this month, possibly on October 28. The report by Smartprix, citing tipster Yogesh Brar, suggests that Oppo will first introduce ColorOS 16 before the Find X9 series officially rolls out in India. Both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are said to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. The Find X9 is said to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 7,025mAh battery, and a 32MP front camera. On the rear, it’s expected to house a Sony LYT-808 50MP main sensor, a Samsung JN5 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a LYT-600 50MP periscope telephoto sensor.
The Find X9 Pro, meanwhile, may offer a slightly larger 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, a 7,500mAh battery, and a 50MP selfie shooter. The rear camera setup could include a LYT-828 50MP main sensor, a Samsung JN5 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a Samsung HP5 200MP periscope telephoto lens.
Both phones are expected to include ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanners and come with an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance. With these specs, Oppo appears ready to take on other upcoming flagship contenders like OnePlus 15 and Vivo X300 series in the Indian market next month.
