The e-commerce website Flipkart is offering the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the OnePlus Nord 4 at Rs 26,508, which makes a steep drop of 19 percent. It must be noted that it was launched at Rs 32,999. Moreover, 5% cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card is what you can get to reduce the price further.
OnePlus Nord 4 features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and packs a large 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support. For photos, it gets a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it features a 16MP selfie camera. Along with a metal body, it gets an IP65 rating against dust and water. Overall, it is a perfect package to buy at this price, with all sorts of specifications that are needed to have a reliable device for day-to-day usage.
But the question is still — whether you should buy it right now or wait for the Nord 5? Based on leaks, the Nord 5 is said to feature a bigger 6.83-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a better and powerful chipset than its predecessor. The battery is expected to be a 5,200mAh with 80W charging support, which seems to be letdown. However, the camera segment fulfils that void with an expected 50MP main, 8MP secondary, and a 50MP selfie camera.
If leaks are to be believed, it will be priced at around Rs 30-35,000 range. While spending a few thousand more, you will be able to get the latest phone along with more years of software support than its predecessor. Even if you don’t get excited about it, the previous avatar Nord 4 may even get more discount after the launch of the Nord 5.
So, we suggest you to wait for a few weeks more!
