Infinix has announced its next major smartphone, confirming that the upcoming Infinix Note 60 Ultra will introduce a fresh design direction for the brand. The company says the phone is being developed in collaboration with Italian design firm Pininfarina, which suggests Infinix is preparing a more premium look for its flagship lineup. More details about the phone’s hardware and full design will be shared closer to the launch.

Infinix Partners With Pininfarina for Note 60 Ultra
Pininfarina, best known for its work on high-end sports cars and performance-focused automotive projects, is taking on the styling of Infinix’s next flagship smartphone. The Note 60 Ultra will be the first smartphone to come out of this partnership, signalling the start of a refreshed design approach for Infinix’s upcoming premium devices. Infinix says the collaboration is aimed at improving the overall build quality and visual appeal of its premium phones. Not the First Automotive-Inspired Project
Infinix has previously worked with automotive design studios. Earlier models like the Note 30 VIP Racing Edition and Note 40 series were created with BMW’s DesignWorks, bringing motorsport-inspired themes to the devices. Those projects appear to have set the foundation for Infinix’s continued interest in bringing external design experts into its product development.
