Apple iPhone Fold Launch Next Year?

As per a Naver blog post by tipster Lanzuk (@yeux1122), Apple will launch new iPhone models with fresh form factors every year, between 2026 and 2028. The leakster cites a report by a “trend and parts research company” without mentioning its name. news Also Read: Apple’s Foldable iPad Faces Major Delay, Now Expected In 2029: Here's Why

Next year, Apple is said to launch its first foldable iPhone, which could debut as the iPhone Fold. The device’s display is expected to have a minimal crease. It may feature an LTPO+ flexible OLED panel, which unfolds into a bigger display – roughly the size of an iPad mini. The foldable iPhone may launch alongside the iPhone 18 series, which is said to include the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max. news Also Read: Forgot Your Wi-Fi Password? A Bezel-Less iPhone in 2027

In 2027, the iPhone 20 series is tipped to feature a bezel-less OLED screen. The company is also expected to trim down the Dynamic Island by replacing it with a punch-hole cutout or possibly an under-display selfie camera.

iPhone Flip Coming in 2028?

Lastly, in 2028, Apple could take on flip phones by launching a clamshell-style foldable – which could be dubbed the iPhone Flip. The device may not get a large cover display; instead, it could feature a smaller front screen to access basic information and notifications along with Apple Intelligence shortcuts.

While the report doesn’t provide any concrete proofs for the claimed changes, it manages to get our hopes high with Apple. To recall, Apple launched the iPhone X, skipping the iPhone 9, in 2017 to celebrate 10 years of the iPhone. This move suggests that Apple may skip the iPhone 19 and launch the iPhone 20 series instead in 2027.
