Samsung seems to be gearing up for launching its next high-end foldable phone in China – the Samsung W26. After the global launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the W26 has been reportedly spotted on China’s 3C certification site, uncloaking important charging information. Although the formal announcement hasn’t been made, the listing provides a few initial hints regarding what to anticipate. news Also Read: Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold First Look & Hands-on

According to a report by Xpertpick, a Samsung phone model number SM-W9026 has been certified by China’s Compulsory Certification (3C) body. This model number closely follows last year’s Samsung W25 (SM-W9025), making it highly likely that this is the upcoming Samsung W26 – the Chinese variant of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. news Also Read: Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Is Finally Here | CES 2026 | First Look

The 3C listing confirms support for a 25W wired charging speed, using Samsung’s EP-TA800 charger. This aligns with the charging capacity of the Samsung W25, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Fold Special Edition that came before. Still, like recent Samsung flagships, the W26 would not come with a charger in the box. news Also Read: Running Out Of Space? These 1TB Smartphones Are Worth Your Money

Interestingly, the listing also makes a reference to satellite connectivity, though more details are yet unclear.

Samsung released the W25 in November 2024, after the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition arrived in South Korea. The W25 came with a 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model that carried a price tag of CNY 15,999 (about Rs 1.9 lakh). The W26 is expected to follow a similar pattern – premium specs paired with a foldable form factor and exclusive availability in China.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9. The Fold 7 is now the company’s thinnest and lightest foldable phone, measuring 8.9mm when folded, 4.2mm when unfolded, and weighing just 215 grams.
