PlayStation 5 is one of the most advanced gaming consoles available right now. Some of the best AAA titles are playable on PS5, giving players an immersive gaming experience. However, there are times when you are bored of a game because you have already played it or you do not just like it. That means you need to uninstall the game and free up the space for other games. Uninstalling games on your PS5 is not complicated, but if you are a new user, it may be a little tricky. There are two ways to uninstall a game from your PlayStation 5: through the Game Library and the Settings menu. Also Read: Upcoming PlayStation 5 Games that will break all the charts
— Head to the Game Library on your PS5 home screen.
— Go to the Installed tab and look for the game you want to uninstall.
— Now, press the Options button (the small button to the right of the touchpad) on your controller.
— Select Delete from the menu and confirm by choosing OK.
— Go to the Settings menu on your PS5 home screen by tapping the gear icon on the top right corner.
— Select Storage from the menu and then go to Games and Apps.
— Choose the game you want to delete. You can choose more than one game through this method to bulk delete them.
— Select the Delete option to delete the game(s).
You must remember that removing a game from your PS5 will also remove any associated files or data by default. However, the PS5 will give you the option to keep the saved data should you choose to reinstall the game later. In some games, you may see the option to choose individual parts to delete, such as expansion packs or DLC, instead of the entire game.
