You don’t have to worry about the personal messages, as LinkedIn has clarified that they won’t be included. Similarly, login credentials, payment method options, and the member-provided salary data or job application data attributable to a specific member will not be used. However, the worrying part is that the settings will be on by default. That means before you know, LinkedIn will be using your data to train its AI systems. But there is a relief as you have an option to stop it if you don’t want to share your personal information for AI training. Here is how to turn off the data sharing with LinkedIn for the AI training.

Step 1: First of all, go to Settings in the LinkedIn app.
Step 2: Here, tap Data Privacy.
Step 3: Now, click on the Data for Generative AI Improvement.
Step 4: Simply toggle it off.
However, it must be noted that turning on sharing your data for Generative AI will only keep you safe from data sharing in the future. That means, LinkedIn has already taken data so far will remain with the tech giant for generative AI training.
