Console players who fancied Valorant can rejoice. The game has just arrived on consoles straight from PC, albeit it’s a beta launch at the moment. The game can be installed and played on two of the popular consoles the Sony PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The affordable Xbox Series S also supports the game. Valorant is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

Riot Games’ Valorant is pretty popular on PC and now it’s trying to make its name on the console platform. However, the game is in the beta phase right now, but you can still install it. All you need to do to play the game on your console is to register for it. Follow the steps below to register for the game. Step 1: Visit beta.playvalorant.com.

Step 2: Tap on REGISTER NOW.

Step 3: Create a new account. Or, if you have one already, log in to your account. Once logged in, you should be automatically registered for the game’s limited beta.

Step 4: You should receive the registration confirmation message in your email. Once you get selected you will be able to install the game on your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S console. You will also receive a referral link that you can share with five more people to join the limited beta.

Valorant on console is no different than on PC. For those new to the game, it’s like Overwatch and Apex Legends with different agents and abilities. The game has several modes like Unrated, Competitive, Swift Play, Death Match, Team Death Match, Spike Rush, and Custom. You can play in any of the modes. There are a total of 13 rounds in a match and it’s a 5v5 game. If the game ties, rounds go on until either of the teams surrender.

Valorant can be hard to play on consoles, especially for those who previously played on PC. However, console players who play shooter titles like Overwatch 2 may not find it that difficult. But if for a change or to experiment you try to connect your keyboard and mouse to the console, you may get banned.
