PUBG Mobile 3.9 Update Launches On July 8: Release Time, Features, Gameplay - All You Need To Know

PUBG Mobile fans have something exciting coming up soon! PUBG has officially confirmed that the next big update, version 3.9, is just around the corner, which is scheduled to launch on July 8, 2025. But before you get too excited about the upcoming update, here’s something that you must know that the rollout will happen in stages based on region and platform. PUBG Mobile 3.9 Update Release Time

The reports suggest that the global rollout will happen on July 8th at 7:00 AM with around 30 per cent availability, while it will be rolled out completely by 3:30 PM IST on the App Store and Play Store. PUBG x Transformers Themed Mode

The standout feature of this update is the PUBG Mobile x Transformers crossover. Here’s how it works:

• Players can collect a Spacebridge Beacon during the match.
• When the sky signals “Connection to Cybertron established,” the beacon can be used to summon a Transformer character, Energon Crate, or Cybertronian Crate.
• Note that each has different uses, such as Energon Crate helps in supplies and Energon to upgrade bots, Cybertronian Crate offers basic supplies, and the Cosmic Hoverboard brings a fast transport tool that can be upgraded with abilities like dash and double-jump.

Alongside the themed mode, version 3.9 introduces a range of gameplay tweaks and new content:

Neon Outpost in Erangel: A futuristic area with a boxing ring, energy hub, and black market.

ASM Abakan AR: A new assault rifle with full-auto, burst, and single-shot modes.

Vehicle Drift: Motorcycles and bikes can now drift for better manoeuvring.

New Vehicles: Drive or repair the new Mega Truck and Electromagnetic Tank mid-match.

• Visit the Google Play Store or App Store after July 8
• Find out the PUBG Mobile App and tap on the Update button whenever available
• Ensure at least 1.1 GB of free space and use a stable Wi-Fi connection
