PlayStation 5 Pro leaks are getting wilder with each passing day. Now, the latest ones suggest that the upcoming Sony Prodigy will perform on the same level as AMD Radeon 7700 XT GPU. In a report published by wccftech citing information from AMD tipster Kepler, it has been revealed that the Ps5 Pro performance will be at par with the flagship Radeon processor with some improvements in the ray tracing and rasterization department.
The rumors could be believed to an extent considering the information related to the console that we have seen in the past. Furthermore, Billbil-kun also mentioned in a tweet that the PS5 Pro could be officially announced in September itself. If we look back at the Sony PS4 Pro launch timing, everything fits the bill for the PS5 Pro September launch. After that, the device will reach the market for sale by November. However, the console’s sale will be scheduled differently based on regions and availability.
If we go by the rumors, the PS5 will have a two to three-times faster performance as compared to its predecessors. And this is something we all needed considering that GTA VI is coming soon and none of the fans want any kind of compromise in terms of performance. Speculations are that the PS5 Pro will make a debut with an AMD processor which will bring RDNA3 and RDNA4 clubbed together.
In terms of design, the PS5 Pro will not be a lot distinct from the PS5 Slim. the only difference revealed until now is that the latest console will have three black stripes on both side panels. One of the most chaotic leaks until now is that the PlayStation 5 Pro will only have a digital version. Until now Sony has not confirmed anything officially related to the PS5 Pro. So, the readers are suggested to take the information with a pinch of salt.
