This time, the spotlight falls on Jason and Lucia, a duo whose lives unravel after a job goes off the rails. Perhaps the biggest highlight is the return of Vice City, a fan-favourite from the franchise’s past. But this isn’t just a nostalgia trip – the city is being reimagined as a sprawling, neon-lit playground that stretches into the wider state of Leonida, inspired by Florida. Early reports hint at Rockstar’s largest map yet, with everything from highways and beaches to swamps and rural towns. What’s more, the world won’t stay static. Rockstar is expected to expand it over time, adding fresh missions and new areas to keep players hooked long after launch.
While pricing details aren’t official, reports hint that GTA VI could start at $70 (around Rs 5,800) – in line with other major releases. The game will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a PC release expected later. Pre-orders are likely to go live in early 2026.
For now, fans can circle the date: May 26, 2026. GTA VI is coming, and it promises to be Rockstar’s most ambitious project yet.
