The internet is once again buzzing with fresh excitement around Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) – and this time, it’s not because of a leak or another fan theory. Players have spotted a small but significant update on the official PlayStation Store, hinting that Rockstar Games might finally be preparing for the next big move. news Also Read: GTA VI Release Date, Gameplay, Map, Characters, Price And More: What We Know

Since dropping the jaw-dropping second trailer earlier this year, Rockstar has gone completely silent about the game. But this new change on the PlayStation Store has fans convinced that something major – possibly preorders – could be around the corner. news Also Read: GTA 6 Release Date, Map, Characters, Gameplay And Price: 8 Things To Know

Several fans on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) have noticed new changes on the GTA 6 listing page on the PlayStation Store. According to multiple reports, the page now shows a section where users can “select editions” – a feature that typically goes live right before pre-orders open. Some users have also claimed that a ratings section briefly appeared, although it doesn’t seem to be visible to everyone or in all regions just yet.

This update marks the first notable change to GTA 6’s store presence since Xbox briefly added a “pre-load” button to the game’s placeholder listing earlier this year. While that didn’t lead to any immediate announcements, the addition of edition options on PlayStation suggests that Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, might be gearing up to officially roll out pre-orders.

Of course, neither Rockstar nor Sony has confirmed anything so far. The companies are known for playing things close to the chest – especially with a release as massive as GTA 6. However, small backend updates like this one usually precede major reveals or store listings, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Rockstar drops pre-order details without much notice.

Whenever pre-orders do go live, it’s almost certain GTA 6 will shatter industry records. The game’s trailers alone have racked up hundreds of millions of views, and anticipation for its 2026 launch is at an all-time high.

Until an official announcement arrives, fans are keeping a close watch on the PlayStation Store – because the next big GTA 6 update might already be in motion.
