Google is all set to bring the Pixel 9a this year and most probably in March itself. In a recent development, the new renders of the Google Pixel 9a have leaked online that show a new purple color along with a minute camera island. Popular tipster Evan Blass has shared the latest images on X.com (formerly Twitter). The images look like they belong to the marketing material. Previous reports related to the phone suggested that the purple-colored variant would be named Iris. The device will be available in four different color options – off-white, purple, coral, and black. And yes, Google has taken a considerable step by reducing the size of the camera island. What can we get to see in Pixel 9a?

Google Pixel 9a will ship with a 6.28-inch display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate along with 2700 nits of peak brightness. The device will be powered by a Google Tensor G4 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM along with 128GB internal storage. At the time of launch, we can get to see another 256GB internal storage variant. It will be based on the Android 15 operating system. Rumors have it that the phone will get seven years of software and security updates.

In terms of optics, we may get to see a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary shooter and a 13MP ultra wide-angle shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the handset will sport a 13MP front snapper. It will be powered by a 5100mAh along with basic charging support. As for the pricing, the smartphone can reach the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 46,000.
