BGMI 4.1 Update Is Here: Frosty Funland, Ninja Penguin, and Anamika’s Haunted Challenge

Krafton India has once again brought several upgrades to its popular battle royale game, BGMI, with the new 4.1 update. The BGMI 4.1 update comes with several fresh and immersive experiences for players across Erangel and other battlegrounds. One of the striking features of this update is that it brings a winter-packed theme to the gameplay, new vehicles, and strategic modes. Additionally, the game also packs India-exclusive events, making it one of the most engaging updates of the year.

BGMI 4.1 Availability

The BGMI 4.1 update is now live, with Android users receiving it at 11:30 am IST and iOS players at 9:30 am IST. It is also available for manual download via the official BGMI website.

Frosty Funland

Frost Funland is one of the most important updates that came with the BGMI 4.1 update. This update turned Erangel into a snow-covered battlefield. Now, the battlefield is surrounded by a small Snow festival village called Penguinville. Player will now be able to engage in side missions like Alchemist Penguin and Gunsmith challenges. These challenges will unlock several special rewards.

Magic Ice Skates

Other than the winter-themed battleground, Krafton also launched Magic Ice Skates so that players can easily glide across the battlefield. Now, players can perform fast movements on temporary ice paths. In addition, there is also a Winterland Kar-98K sniper rifle added to the battlefield which fires ice-fused bullets.

There is also an addition of the Salted Fish Rocket Launcher that launches ice projectiles.

New Vehicles

Krafton added Penguin Snowmobile which is a four-seater option for snowball pushes or during rapid movement on the battlefield. Players will also get to experience Pownin, the Mythical Ninja Penguin. It is an AI ally helping players in attacking enemies with shurikens along with teleporting across the map.

Pownin can also share supplies with teammates, introducing a new layer of strategy and cooperation during matches.

Metro Royale and Porsche Collaboration

The BGMI 4.1 update also enhanced the Metro Royale by adding extraction-style gameplay along with exclusive chapters. In addition, players also get to experience squad loot sharing and improved treasure chest mechanics.

Krafton collaborated with Porsche to bring the supercars to the battlefield. The game developer also returned the favorite vehicle in the game, the Mahindra BE 6 to increase the mobility and fun within Erangel.

Anamika’s Horror Challenge

For Indian players, there’s one essential addition and that is the introduction of Anamika, the haunted bride. The bride roams Erangel and offers loot and gold-grade horror skins. Players will get the chance to interact with the Bride but for a limited time only. This interaction will help them earn rare rewards.
