OpenAI is taking major strides in making its generative AI-based tools available to as many people across the globe as possible. Earlier this week, the company announced that anyone could now use ChatGPT, even the open who don’t have an account. And now, OpenAI has announced that its image generation model, DALL-E, now lets users edit AI-generated images — something that wasn’t possible earlier.
In an update on its support page, the company said that the DALL·E editor interface now enables users to edit images by selecting an area of the image to edit and describing the required changes in the chat. Furthermore, the company says that users can also provide a prompt with their desired edit in the conversation panel, without using the selection tool.
But that’s not it. OpenAI has also announced that now users can make these changes from within ChatGPT. This means that users don’t need to log into DALL-E’s interface specifically to make these changes. This feature is available across web, iOS, and Android. Additionally, users can also change the aspect ratio when creating an image with DALL-E. Of course, all these features need a paid subscription.
