Comet Browser By Perplexity AI Is Finally Free For All; Set To Rival Google, OpenAI, Anthropic?

After a few weeks of its sudden popularity and limited rollout, Perplexity AI has finally released its Comet web browser to all without any subscription. The free access to the AI browser Comet seems to be a serious competition against tech giants Google, Microsoft, Anthropic, and OpenAI. Instead of just a web browser, Comet comes as a personal assistant to help you search, organise tabs, shop and even draft emails. It must be noted that the Comet browser was first launched in July 2025 for paid subscribers of Perplexity Max at $200. However, it must be noted that Android users will find it on the Play Store, but it shows that it is coming soon, and you can only pre-register for now. What Does Comet Browser Offer?
