Share quick video notes in chats on WhatsApp

The video note mode is a feature that lets users share a quick video, instead of a full-fledged video recording. Users can send this video in chats. The feature can be accessed by opening the camera within a chat and then swiping from left to right until you see the “VIDEO NOTE” mode. This is a cool feature for those who want to share a short video of something. news Also Read: Now Apply For Delhi Govt Documents In WhatsApp Chat, No Office Visit Needed

While the feature is available in the latest beta on iOS, it already appeared in previous updates on Android. Select Android users spotted the feature when they opened the camera for sharing images. If you are a beta user on Android or iOS and haven’t seen the feature, firstly, update the app from respective stores, i.e. Play Store and App Store. If you still don’t see the feature, wait for it, as it’s gradually rolling out to testers. news Also Read: WhatsApp For iOS Gets A Fresh Liquid Glass Makeover Inspired By iOS 26

Upon successful testing, the feature is expected to be rolled out to the public. Usually, such features arrive in the stable update after several months of their availability in the beta updates. That said, we can expect it to reach the stable version of WhatsApp later this year.

Other than this, WhatsApp is working on several other features to make users’ experience better and more feature-rich. One such feature was spotted on the Android beta for Meta AI. Meta AI was already available for various tasks, but in the latest beta version, some users spotted the ability to create their own avatar using AI. For this, users have to take their own pictures and then let Meta AI do the task of creating cool AI avatars, which you can set as your profile picture.

WhatsApp also recently introduced the “Event” feature to everyone that allows users to create an event in a group chat. Members in a group chat can respond to the event, letting others know if they are going or not. Users can also add a  WhatsApp Call link if it’s a virtual event.
