Meta AI comes to Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook in India: How to access

Meta AI arrives in India: Meta today announced the availability of it in-app AI assistant, that is, Meta AI, in India. The company in a blog post today said Meta AI will soon be available in all its apps, that is, Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook in India. “And it’s starting to roll out in India in English. You can use Meta AI on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram to get things done, learn, create and connect with the things that matter to you,” Meta wrote in its blog post. It is worth noting that Meta had first announced Meta AI at Meta Connect last year. However, at the time Meta AI was available only to the users in the US. Then in April this year, the company expanded support for Meta AI to more countries including Australia, Canada, Ghana, Jamaica, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. As Meta AI arrives in India, here is a step-by-step guide of how you can access it in WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.

Step 1: Update Instagram on your smartphone.

Step 2: Tap Send or Messenger in the top right of feed.

Step 3: Now tap in the top right.

Step 4: Next, tap Create an AI chat.

Step 5: Tap Meta AI.

Step 6: Now, enter a message, tap a message prompt or tap menu to explore more of what Meta AI can do.

Step 7: Tap Send.

Meta AI: How to access Meta AI in Facebook

Step 1: Update Facebook.

Step 2: Open Facebook on your smartphone.

Step 3: Go to any post that you want to know more about.

Step 4: Tap the Meta AI option under the post.

Step 5: On doing so, Meta AI will open in a separate tab.

Step 6: Now ask your question.

Step 7: Hit Send.

Meta AI: How to access Meta AI in WhatsApp

Step 1: Update WhatsApp.

Step 2: Open WhatsApp on your WhatsApp.

Step 3: Open the group chat where you would like to use AI in.

Step 4: Type @ in the message field, then tap Meta AI.

Step 5: If prompted, read and accept the terms.

Step 6: Type your prompt.

Step 7: Tap send.
