Grok AI chatbot’s standalone application has been finally rolled out for iOS. The model is backed by Elon Musk’s xAI and the testing of the iOS app was going on from the last month. All the users will be able to generate images and even ask web search-inspired queries without signing in to their X account on the app. According to the official statement, the app has been launched in the US. Grok iOS App details

The Official X handle of xAI announced the release of the Grok app. The post clearly mentioned that the users are not supposed to log in to use the tool. According to a report published by Gagdets360, the users, after installing the application on their Apple device, are redirected to a new chat window where they can interact with the chatbot. Grok AI is capable of holding conversations with users along with generating images, searching the web, and coming up with answers based on real-time information.

In addition, the AI can also generate emails and essays. And none of the mentioned features requires a sign-in to work. The case is different for the web version of Grok AI as you need to sign in to use any of the offered services. According to the app listing on the Apple App Store, the tool is powered by the Grok 2 AI model.

The same model also works for both the premium and free versions of the web app. As of now, the Fun mode is not available on the iOS app which is available for the Premium tier web version subscribers. Speculations are that we will get to see the Fun Mode pretty soon on the iOS app as well.
