Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, Watch 7 launched with Exynos W1000 and dual-frequency GPS

Samsung has officially launched the all-new Galaxy Watches. The series comprises the Galaxy Watch 7 and the much-awaited Galaxy Watch Ultra. The latter is a sporty and rugged smartwatch for adventures. It comes with a 10 ATM water resistance rating and is claimed to offer up to 100 hours of battery life. Both smartwatches boot on WearOS and run on a 3nm processor. Let’s see the specs, features, and prices of Samsung’s latest smartwatches.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, Watch 7 specs and features

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra brings a fresh new design with a circular screen wrapped in a squarish frame. Samsung has used Titanium for the build, making it rugged. The smartwatch comes in a single 47mm size featuring Sapphire Glass. It boasts an advanced BioActive Sensor for enhanced tracking.

The smartwatch is powered by a 3nm Exynos W1000 processor and comes with a dual-frequency GPS System, i.e. L1 + L5. It runs on WearOS 5 and has One UI on top. The smartwatch has a 10 ATM (100m) Water Resistance rating.

Coming to the Galaxy Watch 7, which retains the circular design, comes in two sizes 40mm and 44mm. The smartwatch is made up of Armor Aluminium 2 and has Sapphire Glass. Similar to the Watch Ultra, the smartwatch has an Advanced BioActive sensor and runs on One UI based on WearOS 5.

Just like the Ultra model, the vanilla Watch 7 is powered by Exynos W1000 chipset and has a dual-frequency GPS system. However, it has a 50m water resistance rating. The Watch 7 40mm will be available in Green and Cream colours. The Watch 7 44mm has two Green and Silver colour options.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is priced at Rs 59,999. The Watch 7 starts at Rs 29,999 for 40mm BT and Rs 33,999 for 40mm LTE. The Watch 7 44mm BT costs Rs 32,999, whereas the 44mm LTE costs Rs 36,999. Both models will be available for preorders from today in select markets, with availability from July 24.
