Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 AI Glasses Available in India Starting Today With 3K Video Capture and Improved Battery Life

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) AI glasses will be available in India starting today, bringing advanced smart eyewear to everyday users. The new generation offers improved battery life, sharper 3K video capture, upgraded Meta AI features, and refreshed styles that combine iconic Ray-Ban designs with modern technology.

Priced starting at Rs 39,900, the glasses are now available at Ray-Ban India stores and leading optical retailers nationwide.

Battery and Advanced Video Features

Following the success of the original, the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) is being fitted with sharp video capture of 3K Ultra HD and the ability to record in ultrawide HDR to capture high quality pictures. The battery life is now twice the amount where it can last up to 8 hours on a single charge, and charging takes only 20minutes to charge the battery by half.

A charging case will be a bonus of 48 hours of use, and one can wear it throughout the day. New creative filters like the hyperlapse and slow-motion video will be added in the software update that will expand the possibilities of content creation among the users.

Colors

The new lineup includes classic Wayfarer, modern Skyler, and the popular Headliner styles. Ray-Ban has added seasonal colors such as Shiny Cosmic Blue, Shiny Mystic Violet, and Shiny Asteroid Grey.

Hindi Support and Celebrity Voice Options

The Gen 2 glasses were upgraded into the meta AI version that is more practical in use. Using the Hey Meta, the user is able to react naturally and use Hey Meta to retrieve answers to their questions, to control the media or answer the message or take photos and videos. The glasses also have full Hindi command and Celebrity AI Voice which enables interaction with the AI voice of Deepika Padukone as well as other international voices of the assistant which makes the experience of using the assistant more engaging.

Upcoming UPI-Lite Payment Feature

Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) will enable secure payment of UPI QR-codes to the glasses in the nearest future. When a user looks at a QR code, say Hey Meta, scan and pay, and makes payments through a WhatsApp-linked bank account, then they do not need to use their phone. This feature is to make normal everyday payments quick and easy.
