Garmin has unveiled two new smartwatches in its Forerunner series in India. The newly launched Forerunner 970 and Forerunner 570 are equipped with GPS, advanced tracking, health monitoring, and training features. Garmin Forerunner 970 Specifications, Features

The Garmin Forerunner 970 sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen with 454 x 454 pixel resolution, enclosed in a 47mm case. Weighing 56 grams, the watch features a titanium bezel and sapphire crystal lens for durability. The Forerunner 970 offers up to 15 days of battery backup in smartwatch mode, 26 hours with GPS enabled, 23 hours with SatIQ, and 14 hours with GPS and music. It packs 32GB internal storage. The Forerunner 970 supports several health tracking features like wrist HR, ECG, Pulse Ox, respiration, stress, fitness age, hydration, women’s health, skin temperature, and more. The wearable sports aluminium bezel and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Forerunner 570 can last up to 10 days (42mm) or 11 days (47mm) in smartwatch mode and 18 hours with GPS. It packs 8GB storage.

The Forerunner 570 comes with similar set of tracking features as the Forerunner 970, including wrist HR, respiration, Pulse SpO2, fitness, and advanced sleep tracking. The watch supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ANT+, call/text functions, and Garmin Share. The Forerunner 570 is also rated for water resistance up to 5 ATM.
