Sennheiser has launched the Momentum 4 Wireless 80th Anniversary Edition in India, marking 80 years of the company’s presence in the audio electronics industry. The brand onboarded German graffiti artist Bond Truluv to design the new wireless headphones. The 80th Anniversary Edition gets a yellow-grey treatment and the left earcup gets the artist’s signature “throwie” tag, giving it a street-art style vibe. The limited-edition headphones pay tribute to the iconic Sennheiser HD 414 headphones. To recall, Sennheiser launched the Momentum 4 Wireless in September 2022 at Rs 34,990 in the country.
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless sports a lightweight design with a padded headband and cushioned earcups. It packs a 42mm transducer system and supports adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) along with a Transparency Mode. The headphones’ sound output can be personalised using built-in equaliser presets, listening modes, and through the Sound Personalisation option in the Smart Control Plus app. The app lets users customise the audio according to their preference.
In terms of connectivity, the Momentum 4 Wireless features Bluetooth 5.2 technology, supporting SBC, AAC, aptX, and aptX Adaptive audio codes.
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless is equipped with a 700mAh battery, claimed to offer a music playtime of up to 60 hours on a full charge. The battery can be charged from zero to 100 per cent in two hours. The on-the-ear wireless headphones also support fast charging, claimed to deliver up to four hours of playback time with a quick charge of five minutes.
