Apple Music is hitting a major milestone as they celebrate their 10th anniversary. Apple has unveiled a brand-new, state-of-the-art studio space in Los Angeles. This shows that the tech giant really cares about their music streaming service. This launch is also part of a broader global initiative to deepen artist connections and unlock creative freedom for musicians worldwide.
The Apple Music campus is located in Culver City. It’s a grand three-storey, 1,300+ square metre creative campus and is Apple Music’s most ambitious artist-driven space yet. Designed from the perspective of an artist, it’s the perfect space for creativity. The space serves as a place where artists can tell their stories and explore sound innovation.
Talking about the facilities of the new campus, Apple has built two advanced radio studios with immersive Spatial Audio playback, that is perfect for interviews, casual chats, or even impromptu performances. There’s also a 371 sqm sound stage for indoor shows, where musicians can shoot their videos or perform live sets.
For artists looking to produce high-quality music, the campus includes a Spatial Audio mixing room equipped with a 9.2.4 PMC speaker system for pro-level audio production. Along with this, there’s also a dedicated photo and social media lab for shooting content. The campus even features private isolation booths for songwriting, podcasting, and one-on-one interviews.
To add to the beauty of the campus, Apple has created an A-List Corridor and an Archive Corridor, showcasing iconic images and artwork from Apple Music’s rich 10-year history.
This new LA hub will join Apple Music’s expanding global network of creative spaces and is a great initiative by the tech giant. These hubs aim to redefine how music is made, performed, and shared, giving artists the tools to shape the next decade of sound.
Apple is also making the occasion even grander by hosting a week-long celebration on Apple Music Radio, packed with specials, throwbacks, and live programming. As part of the celebration, Apple Music Radio will unveil the service’s top 500 most-streamed songs from the last 10 years in a special countdown show.
Additionally, Apple Music is launching Replay All Time which is a special version of the annual Replay experience. This lets listeners see and stream the songs they played the most since joining Apple Music.
