Vivo has unveiled the Vivo V30e smartphone in India. The device comes in the mid-range segment and succeeds the existing Vivo V29e smartphone. Some of the highlights of the smartphone include an Ultra-Slim 3D curved display, a Sony IMX882 main camera, and a 5,500mAh massive battery. It is powered by a Snapdragon chipset and runs on Android 14 OS. Vivo V30e India price, offers, and colours

The Vivo V30e starts at Rs 27,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 29,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Online buyers can get a 10 percent instant discount on HDFC and SBI bank cards. Offline buyers can get a 10 percent instant discount on ICICI, SBI, IDFC, and other bank cards. There’s also a 12-month zero-down payment option with select partners.

The device competes with the likes of Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Poco X6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M55 5G, Oppo Reno 11 5G, and others.

Vivo V30e specifications

Vivo V30e features a new design over the predecessor. It has a circular camera island on the back as opposed to the vertical lens placement on the V29e. The smartphone sports a 6.78-inch ultra-slim 3D curved display with an FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The AMOLED panel has a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device weighs 190 grams.

In terms of the optics, it boasts a 50MP Sony IMX882 main lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. It is assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. The rear camera is capable of shooting 4K videos. There’s a 50MP eye AF camera for clicking selfie images. Vivo has added several camera modes on the phone such as Vlog Movie Creator Mode, 2x lossless mode, and others.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 octa-core chipset powers the device. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot for additional storage. It houses a massive 5,500mAh battery, which is an upgrade over its predecessor. The battery supports 44W fast charging.

The smartphone has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security. As for connectivity, it gets dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and GNSS suite, including GPS. It runs on Android 14 out of the box with Funtouch OS 14 on top.
