Redmi Pad Pro 5G, Redmi Pad SE 4G launched in India: Check price, specifications, features

Xiaomi launched two new tablets in India. The company today launched the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and the Redmi Pad SE 4G in the country today. In addition to launching the two tablets, the company also introduced accessories for these tablets. The company via a post on X (formerly Twitter), Xiaomi announced the launch of the Redmi Pad SE 4G cover, Redmi Pad Pro 5G cover, Redmi Pad Pro keyboard, and the Redmi Smart Pen in India. The Redmi Pad SE 4G comes in two storage variants in India. While the 4GB + 64GB variant costs Rs 10,999, the 4GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 11,999 in the country. As a part of the launch offer, Xiaomi is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 on the purchases made using ICICI Bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions. Post this discount, the 64GB variant of the devices will be available for Rs 9,999, while the 128GB variant of the device will be available for Rs 10,999.

As far as the availability is concerned, the Redmi Pad SE 4G It will be up for grabs in India starting 12PM on August 8 via Flipkart, Xiaomi Retail Stores and mi.com in Urban Grey, Ocean Blue and Forest Green colour variants. The Redmi Pad SE 4G cover is priced at Rs 999 and it will be available for purchase starting 12PM on August 8 via mi.com and Xiaomi Retail Stores.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G will also be available in two variants in India. While the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999, the 8GB + 256GB variant is available at a price of Rs 26,999. As a part of the launch offer, Xiaomi is offering a discount of Rs 2,000 on the purchases made using ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank credit cards and credit card and debit card EMI transactions. Post this discount, the 128GB variant of the tablet will be available for Rs 22,999, while the 256GB variant will be available for Rs 24,999.

The company has also launched a non-5G variant or the 4G variant of the Redmi Pad Pro, which comes in a single 6GB + 128GB variant that is priced at Rs 21,999. Post the discount, this variant will be available at a price of Rs 19,999 in India.

As far as availability is concerned, both the Redmi Pad Pro and the Redmi Pad Pro 5G will be available for purchase in India starting 12PM on August 2 via Amazon India, Flipkart, mi.com and Xiaomi Retail stores. As far as the colours are concerned, while the 4G variant of this tablet will be available in Mist Blue and Graphite Grey colour variants, the 5G variant will be available in Quick Silver and Graphite Grey colour variants.

Coming to the accessories, the Redmi Smart Pen and the Redmi Pad Pro Keyboard cost Rs 3,999 each, while the Redmi Pad Pro Cover cost Rs 1,499. These accessories will be available for purchase starting 12PM on August 2. While the stylus and the keyboard will be available via Amazon India, Flipkart, Xiaomi Retail Stores and mi.com, the cover will be available via mi.com, Amazon India and Xiaomi Retail Stores.

Redmi Pad Pro specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, both the Redmi Pad Pro and the Redmi Pad Pro 5G come with a 12.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz, support for Dolby Vision and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Both the variants are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. While the 4G variant of the tablet is available in 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage configuration, the 5G variant of the tablet offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This storage space can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 1.5TB space. They run Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS.

Both the variants have a quad-speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. On the camera front, both the variants have an 8MP camera at the back and an 8MP camera in the front. In terms of the battery, both the variants are backed by a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast-charging technology.

Redmi Pad SE 4G specifications

Coming to the Redmi Pad SE 4G, it comes with an 8.7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1240 x 800 pixels, a screen refresh rate of 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz, and support for Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset that is coupled with 4G of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It runs Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS.

This tablet supports a dual-speaker system with support for Dolby Atmos. Additionally, it has an 8MP camera at the back and a 5MP camera in the front. It is backed by a 6,650mAh battery with support for 10W charger.
