Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Specifications

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is confirmed to feature a full-depth micro-curved display with a 6.83-inch panel, offering a 1.5K resolution. The screen is said to offer 3200 nits of peak brightness, which Redmi calls a “super sunlight screen”. The display will be protected by Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is touted to be the first smartphone to come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The IP69K standard means that the upcoming phone will be able to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets – up to 100 bar at 80-degree Celsius. Redmi also claims the device passes industry’s first-ever five-start waterproof quality certification.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is confirmed to pack a 7,000mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. The battery is claimed to withstand 1,600 charging cycles.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, coupled with an Adreno 810 GPU and up to 16GB of RAM. The phone is also the first in the Redmi Note series to feature satellite communication, supporting Beidou short messages for sending and receiving texts in no network zones.

Redmi will unveil the Note 15 Pro series in China on August 21 at 7:00 PM local time. The lineup is expected to include the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+.
