Realme Unveils 15,000mAh Battery Phone And World’s First AC Smartphone: Check Out All Details Here

Realme celebrated its 7th birthday today with the unveiling of two new concept phones through a livestream on its Facebook account. The company showcased Realme’s 15,000mAh battery phone and the Realme Chill Fan Phone. The latter is touted to be “the world’s first AC smartphone” that can help cool down the device by up to 6-degree Celsius. Realme 15000mAh Phone

Realme unveiled a concept phone that houses a massive 15,000mAh battery. The powerhouse smartphone is claimed to be 42% slimmer and 68% lighter than a regular power bank of the same battery capacity. Realme noted that its 15000mAh battery phone is equivalent to the “nearly combined capacities” of iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, and iPhone 16. The Realme 15000mAh phone packs the massive battery in slim form factor, measuring only 8.89mm thick. The battery, on the other hand, is just 6.48mm thick. The company claims that it is an “all-silicon anode battery” made with 100% pure silicon content. It offers a 1200Wh/L energy density, which is said to be world’s highest battery energy density.

In a video on X (formerly Twitter), Realme Global showcased the phone being used as a ‘portal power station’ to juice up drones or power mini refrigerators and fans. The phone battery is claimed to allow for bingeing 25 movies back-to-back or 30-hour gaming on a single charge with some juice left for the day.

The battery is claimed to deliver one week of usage on a single charge, while it can offer up to 3 months of standby in flight mode.

Realme Chill Fan Phone

Realme also revealed the “world’s first AC smartphone”, called the Realme Chill Fan Phone. It packs a 7,700mm² VC cooling system along with an active fan for heat dissipation. The concept phone is also equipped with a Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC), making it the world’s first and only phone with all 3 cooling methods. Realme says that one semiconductor drops the smartphone temperature by up to 6 degrees Celsius., which is “2 or 3 times greater than the cooling performance of traditional VCs.”

“The AC feature works just like a regular air conditioner so you can turn it on and off as you like,” Realme said during the livestream. The Realme Chill Fan Phone comes with an IceSense Ultra phone back for an aesthetic demonstration of the temperature drop. The back panel stays white at ≥45-degree Celsius and changes to blue at ≤38-degree Celsius.

As the Realme 15000mAh Phone and the Realme Chill Fan Phone are just concepts, we will not see them landing to the market shelves.
