Share Realme P1 series launch: Realme hosted a special event in India today wherein the company launched a new series of smartphones. The company introduced the Realm P1 series smartphones today, which includes the Realme P1 5G and the Realm P1 Pro 5G smartphones. This newly launched smartphone series competes with the likes of budget 5G phones such as the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G and the Vivo Y28 5G among others.
Before the newly launched Realme P1 goes on sale in India, take a peek at its top features, specifications and India prices.
The Realme P1 costs Rs 15,999 for 8+128GB variant and Rs 16,999 for the 8+256GB variant. As a part of the early bird prices on realme.com and Flipkart, interested buyers will be able to purchase these devices at a price of Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. Buyers will get an additional Rs 2000 off as a part of the special offers. It will be up for grabs between 6PM to 8PM today.
Coming to the Realme P1 Pro, it costs Rs 21,999 for the 8+128GB variant and Rs 22,999 for the 8+256GB variant. As a part of the early bird offer, Realme is offering these variants at Rs 19,999 and Rs 20,999 on realme.com and Flipkart respectively. Interested buyers can get an additional Rs 2000 off on paying for their purchases via their ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and SBI cards. This phone will go on sale between 6PM and 8PM on April 22.

The Realme P1 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 2000 nits and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It supports 16.7 million colours and a screen-to-body ratio of 92.65 percent. Additionally, the Realme P1 5G comes with a Rainwater Smart Touch feature that determines the difference between an accidental touch, using the phone when there is water on the screen.
Coming to the internals, the Realme P1 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G chipset that is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. This space can be expanded further using a microSD card of up to 1TB storage space. Additionally, the Realme P1 5G has an in-display fingerprint sensor and a dedicated VC cooling system for balanced performance during gaming.
The phone runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and it comes features such as IP54 dust and water resistant feature, Mini Capsule 2.0 and dual stereo speakers. Realme will provide four years if software updates and three years of security updates. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC charging technology, which the company says can charge the device completely in just 65 minutes.
On the camera front, the Realme P1 5G sports a 50MP primary camera with Sony LYT 600 sensor + 2MP Black and White sensor at the back and a 16MP selfie camera.
The Realme P1 comes in Peacock Green and Phoenix Red colour variants.
Coming to the Realme P1 Pro 5G, this smartphone comes with a 6.7-inch OLED Pro-XDR display with a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio, a screen refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset that is coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. It runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 and it is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with a 45W charger. Additionally, this smartphone comes with a 3D VC cooling system for a more balanced gaming performance.
On the camera front, the Realme P1 Pro 5G comes with a 50MP primary camera and it comes in Phoenix Red and Parrot Blue colour variants.
