One of the biggest highlights of the phone is its new partnership with Japanese camera brand Ricoh. The GT 8 Pro is also said to sport a flat 2K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and ultra-thin bezels. The phone will likely pack a large 7,000mAh+ battery that supports 120W fast charging and wireless charging. Other expected features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, metal frame, dual speakers, and improved haptic feedback with an X-axis motor.
The standard Realme GT 8 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is said to feature a 6.6-inch OLED screen with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. On the camera front, it is expected to feature same Ricoh-tuned modes found on the Pro variant. The phone could pack a large 7,000mAh battery.
Realme will reveal the pricing of the flagships at the launch event, but reports suggest the GT 8 Pro could start around CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 49,300), while the regular GT 8 will be priced slightly lower. Both models are expected to make their global debut later this year.
