Realme is introducing a game-changing design feature on its upcoming flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro. Leaked renders recently revealed the robot face-like camera island on the phone. A new video posted by Realme on Chinese microblogging site Weibo confirms that the flagship will feature a user-swappable camera island. If you are not a fan of the odd robot face look, you can swap it with a round module. news Also Read: 5 Best Wireless Earbuds Under Rs 5000 In India With ANC, Long Battery And More

The short video shows three different camera island designs, which can be easily swapped. This suggests that the screws on the left and right of the camera lenses will be used to swap the designs. The arrangement of the lenses, though, makes each design module look like a robot face with two big eyes and a mouth. news Also Read: Realme 15x 5G Launch In India Set For October 1: Check Specifications, Features, Design, Expected Price

However, this is a welcoming feature if you want to swap the camera module design once it becomes boring. Realme is expected to offer the swappable islands as part of the accessories for the Realme GT 8 Pro. The idea is unique, but it is worth noting that this could be a one-off shot for the upcoming phone. It may or may not be carried forward in future generations.

Realme GT 8 Pro Launch

Realme is expected to launch the GT 8 Pro alongside the standard GT 8 in China in October. The phone will be released globally in the coming days. The company has also confirmed that the Realme GT 8 Pro will be India’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagship.

Realme GT 8 Pro Specifications, Features (Expected)

The Realme GT 8 Pro is said to feature a 6.78-inch QHD OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to come with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. It could pack a 7,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The GT 8 Pro will likely boot Realme UI 7, based on Android 16.
