Realme recently announced that its flagship GT 8 series will launch in China in October. Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed key details about the Realme GT 8 Pro, including its display and camera configurations. Realme GT 8 Pro Display, Camera Specs Confirmed

Realme took to Chinese microblogging site Weibo to confirm that the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro will sport a 2K flat display, instead of GT 7 Pro’s quad-curved screen. According to Realme executive Derek, the refresh rate has been improved from 120Hz in the previous generation to 144Hz in GT 8 Pro. The brightness has been pushed from GT 7 Pro’s 6,000 nits to 7,000 nits in the upcoming flagship. Another post by Realme reveals that the device will feature a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor.

According to Realme’s Marketing Communication Director, Aric Song, the GT 8 Pro will support 3x optical zoom along with 12x lossless zoom.

The Realme GT 8 Pro will join other Chinese rivals like the upcoming Honor Magic 8 series and Vivo X300 series – both of which are expected to feature 200MP telephoto sensors.

Realme GT 8 Pro Specifications (Expected)

According to reports, the Realme GT 8 Pro will be equipped with a 6.78-inch flat display with 144Hz refresh and up to 7000 nits of peak brightness. The screen could feature narrow bezels all around with large R-angle corners.

The Realme GT 8 Pro could be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device is said to house a large 7,000mAh battery.
