Realme GT 8 Pro could debut in India on November 11, becoming the country’s first smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, according to a new report. If true, Realme may just beat OnePlus and iQOO in the ongoing race to launch the first Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 device outside China. news Also Read: iQOO 15 vs OnePlus 15: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Flagships Compared

Realme GT 8 Pro India launch timeline

As per a report from 91mobiles, Realme initially planned to unveil the GT 8 Pro between November 18 and 20 in India. However, after learning that OnePlus is eyeing a November 13 launch for its upcoming OnePlus 15, Realme is said to have advanced its plans. The company is now reportedly targeting a launch window between November 10 and 12, with November 11 being the most likely date. news Also Read: Top 7 Smartphones You Can Buy Instead of the Nothing Phone 3a Lite

If the timeline holds, Realme could start teasing the GT 8 Pro’s India debut later this month, soon after its China launch. The Realme GT 8 series – which includes the standard GT 8 and the GT 8 Pro – is expected to go official in China in the coming weeks. While the GT 8 Pro is confirmed to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the regular GT 8 might use last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform.

Realme x RICOH partnership

The Realme GT 8 Pro is also drawing attention for another reason – its new imaging partnership with RICOH. This is Realme’s first serious collaboration with a traditional camera brand. Realme has been dropping hints that its tie-up with RICOH will redefine photography on its flagship phones, suggesting that the GT 8 Pro could offer a noticeable jump in camera performance.

According to leaks, the GT 8 Pro might sport a triple rear camera setup – including a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor, a 200MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide camera. If these details turn out to be true, the GT 8 Pro could deliver one of the most versatile and capable camera systems we’ve seen from Realme so far.
