Realme has launched a new smartphone series in India dubbed the Realme 13 Pro series. The smartphone series comprises two smartphones, the Realme 13 Pro+ and the vanilla 13 Pro. Both phones come with the same design and also share some of the specs, however, they differ in terms of the camera, fast charging support, and other added features. The series arrives in the midrange segment and competes with the likes of the Redmi Note series, Motorola, and other Nothing devices. Realme 13 Pro is priced at Rs 26,999 for 8/128GB variant, Rs 28,999 for 8/256GB variant, and Rs 31,999 for 12/512GB variant. With bank offers, the following are the prices of the Pro model: Rs 23,999, Rs 25,999, and Rs 28,999, respectively. It comes in Monet Gold, Monet Purple, and Emerald Green colours. Realme 13 Pro+ costs Rs 32,999 for 8/256GB variant, Rs 34,999 for 12/256GB variant, and Rs 36,999 for 12/512GB variant. With bank offers, the device will be available for Rs 29,999, Rs 31,999, and Rs 33,999, respectively. It has Monet Gold and Emerald Green shades. The device will go on sale from August 6.
The early bird sale for the phones is scheduled for July 20 between 6 PM and 10 PM. The series will be available for purchase on Flipkart and Realme.com.
The Realme 13 Pro series rivals the Redmi Note 13 Pro series, Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and Nothing Phone 2a/the upcoming Phone 2a Plus.
The Realme 13 Pro series features a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. It has up to 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It’s a 10-bit screen with a 100 percent P3 colour gamut and 2160Hz PWM dimming. Both have Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and double up as in-display fingerprint scanners.
One of the major differences between the two is the cameras. The Realme 13 Pro+ has a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP LYT-600 main lens, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide unit. The 13 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50MP LYT-600 main + 8MP UW dual-rear camera setup. The main lens on both models supports OIS for stabilized footage. The periscope telephoto on the Pro+ also has OIS support.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset powers the series. It’s a 4nm chipset with Adreno 710 GPU. The Pro+ comes with the following variants: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The vanilla Pro model starts with an 8GB RAM + 128GB variant, 8GB RAM + 256GB variant, and a 12GB RAM + 512GB variant.
Both pack a mammoth 5,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC Charge support on the Pro+ and 45W support on the Pro. The duo has dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and GPS support. The series has an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance. The also has dual stereo speakers. It runs on Android 14 OS and has Realme UI 5.0 on top.
