Poco M7 Plus 5G Launch Date In India Confirmed: Another 7000mAh Battery Beast?

Poco has officially confirmed the launch date of the next budget smartphone while expanding its M-series – the Poco M7 Plus 5G. While taking the announcement to social media and a microsite on Flipkart, the tech giant has revealed that the Poco M7 Plus is launching on August 13th at 12 PM IST. While joining the Poco M7 family, which already includes the Poco M7 5G and Poco M7 Pro 5G, the upcoming Poco M7 Plus is tipped to be a battery beast with a massive 7000mAh battery. It is also confirmed to support reverse charging technology. What else does it expect to bring to the table? Have a look. 

Poco M7 Plus: Specifications And Features – What To Expect?

Based on the previous leaks and rumours, the Poco M7 Plus 5G is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset under the hood. Moreover, it may feature a 6.9-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Talking about the photography, it could be headlined by a 50MP primary camera at the back, while the front may feature an 8MP selfie camera. 

The design elements have been revealed officially, which seems to bring a white colour variant, and the rear panel is segregated with different rectangles. A dual camera setup aligned vertically can be seen, while the side features volume controls and a power button. The bottom has a USB-C charging port and a speaker grille.

Poco M7 Plus Expected Price

It is more than just expectations. Along with the battery size reveal, Poco has also confirmed that it will be the largest battery in the smartphone segment “under Rs 15,000.” This makes sense as the predecessor Poco M6 Plus 5G was launched at a starting price of Rs 13,499 for a 6GB RAM and a 128GB storage variant. Hence, the Poco M7 Plus is expected to remain in the same price range. However, the exact price, availability and storage variants will be confirmed with its launch in India on August 13th.
