Oppo A5 could ship with Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor: Leaks

Oppo has release multiple devices in the last few months and the brand is planning to drop Oppo Find X8 Ultra pretty soon as well. Now, in a recent development, it has been revealed that the company is planning to drop a new mid-range smartphone, reportedly A5, in the market as well. The Oppo A5 has already appeared on the TENAA certification website carrying a model number PKQ110.

Oppo A5 expected specifications and features

With the TENAA certification, key specifications and features of Oppo A5 have been revealed. And that’s not it, a tipster also dropped the hands-on photos of the device. As seen in the images, the smartphone gets a textured back with a camera island placed at the top middle. We can also see three cutouts for the placement of the sensors along with one dedicated for flash. The device measures 161.57×74.47×7.65mm and it will weigh around 185 grams.

Coming to the specs, the Oppo A5 will ship with a 6.7-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED display. The processor of the device has not been revealed yet. However, as mentioned on TENAA, the device will have a 2.2GHz processor which could possibly be the Snapdragon Gen 1 processor. It will most probably have two RAM and storage options – 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage. Nonetheless, at the time of launch, we can get to see around three to four storage and RAM based variations of the device.

In terms of optics, the Oppo A5 will get a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device may bring an 8MP front snapper. Apart from that, it will pack a 6500mAh battery along with 45W fast charging support.
