Motorola Edge 70 is tipped to make its debut in India soon. The device was launched in global markets last month and is now expected to launch in the country in mid-December. The Edge 70 succeeds the Motorola Edge 60, which debuted earlier this year. It is a rebadged version of the Moto X70 Air from China and is said to come with few differences. Motorola Edge 70 India Launch Date (Leaked)

Tipster Mukul Sharma claims that the Motorola Edge 70 will launch in India around December 15. The phone is said to measure 5.99mm in thickness, similar to the Moto X70 Air that launched in China. With this slim profile, the Edge 70 is likely to be positioned alongside other thin smartphones such as the Galaxy S25 Edge and the iPhone Air. Motorola Edge 70 Specs, Features (Expected)

Motorola hasn’t confirmed the India-specific details yet, but early leaks suggest the Indian model may come with a bigger battery than the global version and a slightly updated design. The phone is also expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which would place it in the mid-range to mid-premium bracket. For cameras, the Motorola Edge 70 is expected to include a 50MP triple rear camera setup. Wireless charging support is also likely to be part of the package, matching competitors in the same segment.

Sharma also shared images showing the colour options expected for India. The phone may arrive in light green, dark green, and black, each featuring Pantone branding at the bottom of the panel.

Motorola Edge 70 Price in India (Expected)

The Motorola Edge 70 is tipped to launch in India at a much lower price than the global model. Internationally, the handset is priced at GBP 699.98 (approx. Rs 84,000) and starts at EUR 799 (around Rs 83,800) in Europe. In India, the phone is expected to be priced under Rs 35,000, which would place it well below the global version and closer to the Edge 60, currently priced at Rs 25,999.
