Motorola Edge 50 Fusion India launch: Motorola launched its next generation mid-range smartphone, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, in India today. This smartphone is a part of the company’s Edge 50-series, which also includes the Motorola Edge 50 Pro that starts at Rs 31,999 in India. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes with top-of-the-line features such as a 50MP camera with Sony LYTIA-700C sensor and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 system-on-chip (SoC). Motorola Edge 50 Fusion India price and availability

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be available in three colour variants, which includes Marshmallow Blue with vegan leather finish, Hot Pink with vegan suede finish and Forest Blue with acrylic glass finish. It will be available in two variants in the country. The 8GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs 22,999, while the 12GB+256GB variant is priced at Rs 24,999. This newly launched smartphone will be up for purchase in India starting 12PM on May 22 via Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores including Reliance Digital. As a part of the launch offer, the company is offering an instant bank discount of Rs 2000 on ICICI Bank Credit Cards and Credit Card EMI transactions. It is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs 2000 on Flipkart and an additional no-cost EMI up to nine months starting at Rs 2,334 per month on ICICI Bank cards.

Motorola is also offering operator offers up to Rs 10,000 to Jio subscribers. This includes a Jio Cashback up to Rs 2000 along with additional offers up to Rs 8,000. It is also offering cashback offer on prepaid recharges of Rs 399.
Additional offers for Jio subscribers include a discount of Rs 125 on Rs 299 on food orders on Swiggy, a flat discount of Rs 200 off on a minimum transaction of Rs 999 on Ajio, up to Rs 1500 off on flights and up to Rs 4,000 off on bookings via EaseMyTrip and a discount of up to Rs 1,000 on bus bookings via AbhiBus.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion specifications and features

Coming to specifications, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes with a 6.67-inch full HD+ pOLED Endless Edge display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a screen refresh rate of 144Hz. 1,600 nits of peak brightness, Aqua Touch feature and a dedicated Game Mode with a screen refresh rate of 360Hz. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the screen.

Coming to performance, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset that is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage space. It runs Android 14 OS and Motorola will provide three years of OS updates and four years of security updates to the users. In terms of battery, the phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 68W TurboPower feature.

Coming to the camera, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion sports a 32MP camera on the front and a dual camera setup at the back, which includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 700C sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle macro vision sensor.

On the connectivity front, the phone has 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS.
