Moto Razr 60 Ultra has been making the headlines for a long time now. And pretty recently the device has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification listing. This could be dubbed a major hint that the handset is soon going to launch in the Indian market.
For now, it has been codenamed Orion and carries model number XT2551. The predecessor of the upcoming smartphone, Moto Razr 50 Ultra, was launched in the market in July 2024. Keeping that in mind, we can expect that the Razr 60 Ultra could debut in the second half of 2025.
According to the report published by 91Mobiles, the Moto Razr 60 Ultra will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite processor. And yes, the processor is not available in the global market until now. Seems like the Moto clamshell foldable phone is going to be the first few ones to bring the mentioned Snapdragon processor. Apart from that, we can get to see an LPDDR5X type RAM paired with UFS 4.0 storage.
Now, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra shipped with a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO pOLED inner display coupled with a 165Hz refresh rate. We can expect the upcoming smartphone to bring a similar display configuration because chances are low that we will get to see a panel carrying a better refresh rate than 165Hz. In terms of the camera, yes, we can get to see a better sensor than the dual 50MP that was included in the predecessor.
Now, coming to what we want to see, the Moto Razr 50 Ultra shipped with a 4000mAh battery and 45W fast charging support. Expectations are that the Moto Razr 60 Ultra will bring a sturdy battery and powerful fast charging support.
