Asus, without much fanfare, has launched the ROG Phone 9 FE in Thailand. The device offers a design identical to the ROG Phone 9. In addition, you will get to see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor powering the device instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor like the other variants from the series. The smartphone is available in a single black color variant and costs around 29,990 Thai Bhat. If it reaches the Indian shores, the device will be priced somewhere between Rs 75,000 to Rs 80,000. The Asus ROG Phone 9 FE comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung E6 AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor coupled with Adreno 750 graphics processing unit. It also includes 16GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage. The device operates on the ROG UI based on the Android 15 operating system.
In terms of optics, the Asus ROG Phone 9 FE sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter with 6-axis Gimbal stabilization, a 13MP ultra wide-angle shooter, and a 5MP macro shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the device gets a 32MP front snapper as well. The smartphone is powered by a 5500mAh battery along with 65W Hyper charge support, 15W Qi wireless charging support, PD charging, and Quick Charge 5.0.
For security purposes, the phone also brings an in-display fingerprint scanner. It also offers best-in-class audio output with dual speakers, 5-magnet stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Connectivity options offered in the device are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 7, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC, and more. It also carries IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
