Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro announced: Check specs and availability

Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro has made a debut in its home country. The laptop series brings the brand new Intel Core Ultra series 2 chipset along with Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, and more. The devices also get access to Microsoft Copilot+ and Samsung Galaxy AI.

As of now the pricing of the same has not been revealed by the brand. However, it has been confirmed that the sale of the same begin from January 2, 2024. The launch date of the devices for the global and Indian market has not been confirmed yet. The series will be available in two different color options including silver and gray.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro will be available in two different sizes, 14-inch and 16-inch. The laptop will get a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a Vision Booster feature. The device will offer one of a kind streaming and viewing experience that you cannot expect from any other device in a similar price range most probably. It will be powered by the Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2 coupled with a neural processing unit that supports up to 47 trillion operations per second.

It brings AI features like AI select that work identically with Google’s Circle to search. With this one, users can highlight a part of the screen and then trigger a search for it on the web.

The laptop also brings Staggered HDR technology, a quad speaker setup, along with Dolby Atmos support. The device can run for more than 20 hours once charged completely. Connectivity options offered in the machine are a 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card reader, USB Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 4 ports, and HDMI 2.1 ports. While we know that the pricing has not been confirmed until now, expectations are that it will be priced over Rs 1,00,000 in the Indian market considering the price of the alternatives.
