The new feature allows the users to change the chat background and even customize the color of the chat bubbles. There are a lot of pre-set chat themes available for both background and chat bubbles. How to apply WhatsApp chat themes?

  • Firstly, open the WhatsApp application and then head to the Settings menu.
  • Now, go to the Chats options and then go to the Chat theme, and then select a theme that you want to apply to the chats.
  • If you want to customize each chat individually then tap on the name of the contact on the chat screen and then click the three-dot menu and then go to the Chat Theme option.
